If you need a quiet room with a comfortable bed, sadly no window which made it better for sleeping, this is the place in the old quarters as the price was also great. The downside is a very tight bathroom but I survived it with great water pressure and hot.Posted on Google Henry Vu2026-04-27Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our stay at Madelise Central Hotel & Travel was absolutely wonderful. The owner is a very sweet & kind and the staff is incredibly helpful—they truly believe that 'the guest is everything' and treated us with so much respect and care. The service was top-notch. They ensured our room was cleaned every single day, and they consistently provided two fresh water bottles and coffee daily without us even having to ask. Another big plus was their hospitality after checkout; they allowed us to store our luggage safely so we could explore the Old Quarter one last time before our flight. If you are looking for a place in Hanoi where you are treated like family, this is it. We will definitely come back!Posted on Google Gavin Chan2026-04-16Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, and I strongly advise others to avoid this place at all cost. . Air Conditioning: Not cold and not functioning properly throughout the stay. • Security: Room door can be accessed without an access card — a major safety concern. • Toilet: Door lock is faulty and cannot be locked from inside. • Room Condition: Poorly maintained and below basic standards. • Amenities: No water boiler provided. I have been patient despite multiple issues from having to unpacking and repacking our personal belongings, due to changing room not once but twice, but this hotel failed on every level — maintenance, safety, and service. This is not just inconvenient, it is unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.Posted on Google Mike M2026-04-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Value for money, good location. Good staff, clean and efficiently run hotel. Sometimes there is noises in morning due to construction/repairs in the hotel.Posted on Google PHUONG DAO2026-04-05Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I spent 1 night there and would like to share some thoughts, hopefully the hotel improves the services in the future. 1./ The room looks nice overall, but small details like photos spoiled the whole experience. 2./ The entrance door is quite stiff. The bellboy wasnt there all the time to support customers with the door. The male receptionist saw the customer coming in with packages then he turned around getting busy with something instead of helping me with the door. (Maybe itss not his job?!) The one helped me with the door was another gentlement guest at the lobby. The bellboys in the afternoon sessions seemed more attentive than the guys in the morning. 3./ Most important, i was shocked and scared that at 5:40 AM in the morning, some guy WITH the access card open my door room and came inside. When he saw the room was occupied he sorry and walked out immediately but i was really shocked. There was no hotel door latch to protect the guest from inside. I was completely passive and if the guy has bad intention i definitely would not be able to stay here to tell the tale. And hes definitely NOT the housekeeper. More diisappointedly in the morning i went down to tell the receptionist about the incident before going out for breakfast, she just said oh let me check again. Thats it?? I'm vietnamese so definitely language wasnt a barrier to her. And after i came back to the hotel the receptionist didnt follow up, didnt explain to me about the incident. Which makes me really wonder if its a foreigner reported the incident, would she act differently?Posted on Google Kamna Singh2026-04-01Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We booked this hotel almost 2 months before for city view double room. When we reached they gave us double room with no view- lower category room. When we asked we paid for higher category room then gave us that one only, they said we don't have vacant room and we can refund the money, you can stay in without window room. That room was terrible, extremely bad odour with kitchen size room. After 2,3 hours and lot of discussion they gave us city view room. Extremely poor management. Our flight reached in the early morning and we reached hotel at 7 Am. There check in time is 3 pm, we paid full day room considering our early check in but we didn't get that benefits.
